Position: CAMPUS MINISTER AND DIRECTOR WESLEY FOUNDATION

CAMPUS MINISTER AND DIRECTOR WINSTON-SALEM WESLEY FOUNDATION

The Board of the Winston-Salem Wesley Foundation is conducting a search for the position of Campus Minister and Director who will carry out the responsibilities of Word, Sacrament, Order, and Service at the three academic institutions that we serve:
Wake Forest University, Salem College, and the University of North Carolina School of the Arts (all located in Winston-Salem, NC).

A detailed job description that includes some background on the institutions and the history of the position is provided. Qualified applicants are invited to prayerfully consider the position through the Summer and early Fall. Initial applications are due by 15 October 2021.

Preferred qualifications
:

Ordination as an Elder in the United Methodist Church;
five years of ministerial experience;
a commitment to campus ministry;
experience in mentoring/counseling.

Outline of Search
:
Top candidates from the initial application will be notified by 08 November and will be invited to answer additional questions and to interview by Zoom with the selection committee. Final candidates will be invited to interview by Zoom or in-person (on-campus) in early January 2022 with a selection date expected by 01 February 2022.
