Assistant Controller

• Strategic planning
• Preparation and presentation of financial information to key stakeholders
• Financial planning and modeling
• Forecasting and budgeting
• Internal negotiations with sales, purchasing, finance and credit
• Ensuring adequacy of internal controls and GAAP compliance
• Financial due diligence for acquisitions
• Support of operations and management with information vital to decision making
• Assist when needed to resolve operational issues

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance with a minimum of 3 years of related accounting experience, preferably in a full‑cycle distribution business environment.

• Public accounting experience, an advanced degree or professional certification is preferred.

• Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.

• Working understanding of full cycle distribution business, including detailed margin analyses, operational variance analyses, and financial planning, analysis, and forecasting for responsible branches.
