Hospital Services Technicians travel between customer healthcare facilities to provide on‑site proactive collection and exchange of waste containers for Stericycle programs including Sharps Management Service, Pharmaceutical Waste, Controlled Substances, and Document Management on a regularly scheduled basis.

• Travel between customer healthcare facilities to monitor, collect, and exchange waste containers for Stericycle programs.
• Interact professionally with onsite customer staff to ensure service expectations are met or exceeded.
• Maintain a rigid collection and service schedule.
• Communicate duty status on a defined schedule.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
• Require extensive lifting, walking, bending, and pushing; must be able to lift up to 55 pounds and push or pull carts weighing up to 500 pounds.

• 2+ years of work experience or high school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong communication skills and tact in providing superior customer service in varied settings.
• May require mandatory immunizations and credentialing based on customer requirements.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for travel between customer facilities.
• Ability to work independently with little supervision.
• Knowledge of computer/handheld software applications, including spreadsheets and KPI tracking programs.
