Location:

Forsyth Medical Center, Winston Salem. Full‑time, 40 hours per week.

Schedule:

2 weeks day shift 0700‑1530 and 1 week evening shift 1230‑2100, every 3rd weekend.

Sign‑on bonus up to $20,000 available.

Join Novant Health as a Clinical Pharmacist on the Critical Care/Neuro Care Team. Deliver expert medication management, conduct order verification, participate in rounds, and provide pharmacokinetic and therapeutic consultation to patients in intensive care or step‑down units.

• Provide comprehensive clinical pharmacy services for patients in medical and neurological intensive care or step‑down units.
• Verify medication orders, perform medication reconciliation, and deliver therapeutic recommendations.
• Participate in daily rounds and collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize patient outcomes.
• Prepare, distribute, and monitor medications, ensuring safety and accuracy.
• Assist with billing and documentation related to pharmacy services.
• May cross‑cover additional units as required.

• Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy (Doctor of Pharmacy preferred).
• Residency training PGY‑1 or comparable acute‑care experience required; PGY‑2 in Critical Care or Emergency Medicine preferred.
• Postgraduate year 1 residency or fellowship, or two years of experience as a registered pharmacist in a health‑system pharmacy.
• Current state licensure; must maintain licensure and certification within 30 days of start date.
• Board of Pharmacy Specialties certification or other approved certification to be obtained and maintained within 2 years of start date.
• Ability to drive or travel to multiple facilities; adaptability to a high‑performing, resilient team.
