- Perform evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Re‑assess treatment effectiveness, attend staffing meetings, and participate in family conferences.
- Conduct discharge evaluations, recommend home and community safety measures, and provide referrals and education resources.
- Communicate patient needs and progress to treatment team, physicians, service recipients, and families.
- Collaborate with other disciplines to coordinate care and enhance patient outcomes.
- Minimum bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
- Unrestricted state license as an Occupational Therapist.
- Current CPR Certification.
- At least one year of work experience as an Occupational Therapist.
- Knowledge of rehabilitation techniques related to complex neurological diagnoses preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds; lifting up to 100 pounds safely following procedures.
- Fine motor skills, visual acuity, and capability to walk/stand for extended periods.
- Physical tasks including pushing/pulling, bending/stooping, reaching, kneeling, and positioning.
- Health screen or examination may be required prior to assignment and periodically thereafter.
