Additional Information:
RTO after booking is not allowed and is not allowed to be worked out onsite. Any call offs or additional RTO on unit, could possibly turn into a cancel and DNR.

IV Start and Telemetry, Interpretation of dysrhythmias and Management of dysrhythmias, Med/Surg neuro EXPERIENCE
Certs: BCLS, NIHSS, ACLS (preferred, not required)

Certs: ACLS

Unit will accept contracts for 13 weeks.

SHIFT: 12HR NIGHTS

Travelers are required to work every other weekend.

Required:

floating required to any other MS/Tele areas, may include COVID care units. If the traveler calls in for a scheduled weekend shift, we will need to have them make up the weekend shifts based on the needs of the unit. Frequent floating may be required.

PATIENT DIAGNOSES:
We care primarily for Stroke patients, but also care for possible Neurosurgery patients as well as other Neuro diagnoses, such as Epilepsy, Traumatic and non-traumatic subdural hematomas, and many more

SPECIAL PROCEDURES / UNIT DETAILS:
We have a 4 BED Epilepsy Monitoring Unit (EMU) that is considered Intermediate level and that nurse has 4:1
42 daily census. 43 rooms/beds

UNIT SYSTEMS: PYXIS, EPIC, SBAR

SCHEDULING TYPE:
Preferred Scheduling

* If a traveler calls out of a shift, they are expected to make up that day the same week or at the end of their contract.

UNIT ORIENTATION: 36 Hours
