Workday Developer

Winston-Salem, NC – Hybrid onsite 3 days per week

In this role you'll play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and implementing robust Workday solutions across HCM, Finance and Accounting, Source to Contract, and Procure to Pay domains. You will collaborate with stakeholders, gather requirements, and translate them into technical specifications to build customized Workday solutions that meet our organizational needs.

• Design, develop, and implement Workday solutions across various modules, including HCM, Finance and Accounting, Source to Contract, and Procure to Pay.
• Gather and analyze business requirements, translating them into technical specifications for Workday configuration and customization.
• Configure and customize Workday business processes, workflows, and integrations to align with organizational needs.
• Manage Workday security roles and permissions to ensure data integrity and confidentiality.
• Troubleshoot and resolve Workday application issues, providing expert support and guidance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate Workday with other enterprise systems.
• Stay abreast of Workday updates and new features, assessing their impact on existing configurations.
• Conduct thorough testing of Workday solutions, including unit, integration, and user acceptance testing.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to peers and junior developers throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Ensure adherence to security and performance best practices in Workday development.
• Assess and optimize the health and performance of complex Workday applications and software solutions.
• Continuously improve software engineering practices within the Workday environment.

• 5+ years of hands‑on experience developing Workday solutions
• Experience successfully implementing and configuring Workday modules, including core functionalities.
• Proficiency in Web Services, SOAP, and RESTful APIs.

• Workday certification(s)
• Experience with the following areas of Workday:
  Workday Studio, Enterprise Cloud, Enterprise Integration Builder, Workday Security, Workday Prism Analytics, and/or Workday Scripting Language.
• Proficiency in developing Workday Custom Reports, creating calculated fields, and designing data visualizations using Prism Analytics.
• Experience with Mule Soft
