WhatYou Will Do
- Regulates inventory in order to meet forecast plan and weekly schedules
- Works with other plant MRP Controllers to coordinate shared inventory
- Coordinates communications between Procurement, Operations and Planning at a plant level
- Analyzes long term supply requirements and implements inventory strategies to mitigate risk of obsolete inventory
- Work with Purchasing organization on projects that impact the plant
- Respond to demand changes by advising the Regional Purchase Manager on the implications of meeting customer requirements in line with the Commitment Acceptance (Sales & Operations Planning) process.
- Maintain component planning data (master and multifaceted) to cascade demand through the supply chain and produce a committed, achievable plan.
- Plan and manage stock across the supply chain, ensuring specified levels are maintained and consumed in the appropriate order and timeframe.
- Ensure supplier delivery commitments are accurately reflected in SAP; respond to supplier enquiries and manage adherence to schedule lines (Exception Messages) to deliver to plan, including new part introductions using the Supply Chain pro-forma.
- Drive process compliance by using company-standard systems, processes, and reports to identify and resolve potential delivery risks.
- Act as the primary interface with suppliers, leading operational relationships and coordinating improvements in planning, control, inventory, delivery, and lead time.
- Lead supplier business reviews to ensure both supplier and plant requirements are met, evaluating impact to Quality, Cost, and Delivery on the SCMT.
- Manage and coordinate delivery issues, reporting shortages and recovery programs to protect the plan; raise and escalation risks as needed.
- Assess supplier load and capacity constraints that may impact performance and delivery, and work on mitigation actions.
- Minimum 3 yrs. of working experience in Engineering, Manufacturing, Purchasing, or a Logistics field, with a proven understanding of production planning and controls.
- Understanding quality system requirements, inventory control, and IT systems.
- Excellent communication skills with a robust, proactive, and problem‑solving approach.

- A strong focus on taking care of internal partners and customers.
- Solid understanding of SAP or similar ERP systems.
- Advanced analytical skills to handle, transform, understand and use large data volumes (preferred Microsoft Excel).
Pay Range: ($60K to $70K).
