This position will lead all warehouse, packaging, and shipping related activities, including inbound and outbound logistics. The supervisor will oversee both hourly and salaried individuals and manage the Warehouse support and inventory functions.
Day To Day Responsibilities- Lead day‑to‑day operations for packaging, inbound and outbound shipping, and all warehouse support and inventory functions.
- Develop and implement strategies to increase productivity, reduce costs, and optimize customer service.
- Analyze process performance data to make recommendations to leadership.
- Ensure on‑time delivery of Corning’s products and compliance with government import/export regulations.
- Manage relationships with internal customers and collaborate with operations, engineering, and quality for issue resolution and continuous improvement.
- Develop a team in an environment that supports safety, empowerment, and continuous improvement.
- Responsible for personnel development through objectives, performance appraisals, feedback, and direction.
- Serve as a business resource for the MES and ERP systems.
- Maintain a safe work environment and proactively report unsafe conditions.
- Bachelor’s degree (B.S., B.A.) from an accredited college or university.
- Preferred degree in supply chain or APICS certification.
- 5+ years’ experience in supply chain and/or manufacturing operations leadership.
- Proven supervisory, team‑leader, or department leadership experience in warehousing or production manufacturing.
- Experience developing, implementing, and driving results for department performance metrics.
- Strong coaching, conflict resolution, and supervisory skills for salaried and non‑exempt employees.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Interpersonal skills for cross‑functional collaboration.
- Certified Green Belt or demonstrated Lean capabilities.
- Competence in operational financials.
- Fundamentals of safety and health.
- Talent development experience for the department.
- Data analysis using SAP, Excel, Power
BI.
- Understanding of cable products, materials, and manufacturing processes.
- Knowledge of MES and ERP systems; SAP experience preferred.
- Exposure to multiple processes, businesses, and corporate network resources.
- Experience leading cross‑functional teams on improvement initiatives or cost‑reduction programs.
- Experience in innovation and new process implementation.

Salary$91,842.00 – $ (full‑time). Starting pay depends on geographic location and experience.
