The Role of the Technical Supervisor:- Responsible for the day-to-day operations of the technical department
- Ensure the team is meeting and exceeding customer service requirements
- Report to the General Manager
- Plan, develop, and execute the company’s strategy for the future development of the department
- Develop and implement programs and training to ensure that technicians are aligned with the goals of the department
- Hire, supervise, schedule, assess, train, and coach technicians
- Plan production routes for each work day and allocate work to the team
- Ensure all technical equipment is in order
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports
- Perform other related duties and responsibilities, as required, to meet the goals of the company
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Advanced problem-solving and multi-tasking skills
- Proven time management
- Ability to work in a results-oriented environment
- Strong technical knowledge
- Basic knowledge of MS Office
- Valid driver’s license
- Valid pesticide applicators license, or willingness to obtain one
- Post-secondary education
- 2-3 years in a management position in a related industry
- Previous experience in lawn care is considered an asset, but is not required!
