Branch Leader – Stanleyville
The branch leader has responsibility for managing all aspects of the assigned branch. Responsibilities include driving branch performance through leading, coaching and managing; business development; ensuring compliance with internal controls, operational procedures and risk management policies; managing human capital including interviewing, selection, hiring, performance reviews, disciplinary actions, workforce scheduling; and may be cross trained to assist with teller transactions as needed.

- Promote a positive public image in the community and instill the Purpose, Mission and Values in the team and support the Truist culture.
- Drive business development to deliver strong team and individual performance through personal productivity, covering Truist strategy areas such as Small Business, Mass Affluent, Community Heroes and Integrated Relationship Management (IRM) partnership.
- Drive branch revenue through Small Business development and new client strategies; grow Small Business expertise via face‑to‑face appointments, outbound calling and prospecting, and grow Mass Affluent through similar activities.
- Participate in community affairs, associations, and groups to prospect and develop new business and to build the Truist brand.
- Execute branch engagement routines by leading, coaching and motivating teammates to fulfill the Purpose, Mission and Values for client success and team empowerment.
- Partner with Integrated Relationship Management (IRM) and Operations to ensure compliance with bank procedures, controls, risk management, the Truist Code of Ethics, and training completion; collaborate with IRM and key line‑of‑business partners to promote a One Team culture within the branch.
- Oversee human capital decisions including interviewing, selection, hiring, workforce scheduling, development planning, annual performance reviews, ratings, and performance counseling including disciplinary actions for all branch team members.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education and related training or experience.
- Two years of financial services and consumer/small business expertise or equivalent experience and/or performance.
- One year of previous branch leadership or management experience.
- Strong interpersonal, sales relationship, and prioritization skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Must be SAFE Mortgage Licensing Act compliant within 30 days of employment, including new or transfer of registration and applicable NMLS background check.
- Ability to inspire, lead and coach others.
- Bachelor’s degree with a concentration in Business, Accounting, Finance or Banking.
- Graduate of Internal Leadership Development Programs.
All regular teammates (not temporary or contingent workers) working 20 hours or more per week are eligible for benefits, though eligibility for specific benefits may be determined by the division of Truist offering the position.
