Repair Station Senior Technician – Collins Aerospace

What You Will Do
  • Perform final inspections on completed work before it is approved for return to service. (Repair Station Only)
  • Ensure that hourly associates obtain appropriate training to maintain the correct knowledge in all regulations, procedures, and processes.
  • Assist and participate as required with all FAA, airline, AS9100, and other audits.
  • Assist in the creation, implementation, and maintenance of procedures as required in support of product or process improvement initiatives.
  • Research and develop new manufacturing techniques and/or tooling to improve throughput, reduce scrap/rework, and improve product quality.
  • Collaborate with Manufacturing Engineering and Quality teams to determine the best manufacturing process design.
  • Provide guidance and training to hourly associates.
  • Ensure that all work is carried out in accordance with approved data and conforms to all quality standards and specifications.
  • Maintain appropriate documentation for all work in accordance with company standards and customer requirements.
  • Work with hourly associates to help meet Customer contractual deadlines (i.e., turnaround time).
  • Perform other related duties as required.
Qualifications You Must Have
  • HS Diploma or AA/AS degree (or other 2‑year post high school training) with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience.
Qualifications We Prefer
  • Previous FAA Experience
  • Background in Aerospace and/or Aviation
  • Previous Quality Inspection Experience
  • Experience in a Team Lead role

The salary range for this role is 40,000 USD - 82,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
