Position Summary:

To operate a computerized barcode scanner to process returns according to client guidelines.

Responsibilities:

  • Receives returned product and reviews paperwork to make sure the product received matches what the paperwork indicates

  • Scans product codes of client products to input data into Company’s computerized system for processing in a productive and accurate manner

  • Inspects items for damage, tears, stains, odors, etc. per the client’s specifications

  • If problem is seen, takes necessary action as deemed per the client

  • Sorts scanned product in appropriate container locations

  • Completes appropriate paperwork/notations to maintain accurate records

  • Maintains daily records/tracking

  • May perform other related duties as necessary

  • Observes all safety rules and regulations for self and others

  • Maintains good housekeeping of assigned area

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or an equivalent combination of education and experience

  • Working knowledge of computers

  • Ability to read, write (in English)

  • Ability to work under time pressure and meet production goals

  • Ability to follow standard operating and safety procedures

  • Ability to work with hazardous waste

  • Must be able to follow instructions

  • Must have attention to detail

  • Must be able to stand regularly

  • Ability to work in a non-climate controlled environment
