Engineering Technician

Base pay range

$19.00/hr - $24.51/hr

Position would require the candidate to be a W2 employee of Donatech.
US Citizenship/Permanent Resident Required.

Location:

Winston‑Salem, NC

• Works with engineers to build and test commercial aircraft seats and furniture
• Provides technical support to engineers on a variety of tasks
• Confer with engineers on details and implications of test article build, test procedures and results
• Machine small parts based on drawing

• HS Diploma or Associate's degree (AA/AS) or equivalent from two‑year college or technical school; and minimum 4 years related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• Proficient with variety of hand tools
• Proficient with basic mechanical and manufacturing concepts
• Excellent written and oral communication skills along with the ability to work in a team environment
• Basic computer proficiency
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Word & Excel
• Working knowledge of engineering drawing interpretations

• Experience in a highly regulated industry, especially aerospace or automotive
• Experience working in a testing and quality assurance environment
• Well organized with solid judgment; able to multitask and adjust to changing priorities in a fast‑paced environment
• Knowledge and experience with 2D and 3D modeling software
• Demonstrated knowledge of metal machining and fabrication equipment
