Swiss CNC Machinist – Setup

Location:

Winston-Salem, NC
Pay:  $25–$30/hr (DOE)
Shifts Available:

1st

Shift:  Mon–Thu | 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM

2nd

Shift:  Mon–Thu | 4:00 PM – 2:30 AM ( +20% differential )

Weekend

Shift:  Fri–Sat | 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM ( +20% differential )

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced  Swiss CNC Machinist  to join our growing team. This role is hands-on and ideal for machinists who enjoy  short-run, high-precision work  rather than long production cycles.

You’ll be responsible for full setups, proving out first articles, and ensuring tight-tolerance aerospace components meet exact specifications.

What You’ll Do

Set up, program, and operate  Swiss CNC machines  (Sugami S205 / S326)

Perform complete setup and teardown, load new setups, and run first parts

Prove out first article inspections

Work with small, high-precision aerospace components

Perform in-process and final quality checks

Read and interpret blueprints, GD&T, and work instructions

Troubleshoot machining and process issues

Collaborate with team members to optimize efficiency and quality

Pro Shop (PRP) environment

What We’re Looking For

Experience as a Swiss CNC Machinist (Setup required; Programming strongly preferred)

Strong understanding of GD&T

Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints

Experience with quality inspection tools and processes

Mechanical aptitude and attention to detail

Background in aerospace machining is a strong plus

CAD/CAM and CNC programming experience highly beneficial

Pro Shop (PRP) experience is a plus

Ability to Program is a plus

Compensation & Benefits

$25–$30/hr , based on experience

Shift differentials:  +20% for 2nd shift and Weekend shift
