Your Role as Nurse (RN/LPN) Unit Manager

As Nurse (RN/LPN)
Unit Manager
, you will oversee our long-term care unit
, ensuring that each resident receives compassionate, high-quality care
. You will lead care planning, team coordination, and process improvements that enhance both resident and staff experiences.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and oversee care delivery on the long-term care floor
  • Collaborate with the Director of Nursing to address concerns from residents, families, and staff
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives
  • Manage admissions and discharges, including documentation and care planning
  • Maintain accurate staffing records and assist with scheduling
  • Support infection control, safety, and resident care programs
  • Take on special projects and additional duties as assigned
What You Need
  • Active NC state Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license
  • 1 to 3 years of nursing experience (supervisory experience preferred)
  • Current CPR certification
  • Strong clinical and documentation skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Professional, with a commitment to confidentiality
  • Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • Ability to work independently and adapt to changing situations
