- Stage I:
Comprehensive week of General Nursing Orientation followed by five weeks of immersive classes—lectures, discussions, skill training, demonstration, observation, and simulation. - Stage II:
Clinical rotations in surgical patient care, covering circulator and scrub roles with dedicated preceptors.
- Day 1 health coverage (copay or HSA‑eligible options)
- Up to 7% employer‑paid retirement contributions
- Education reimbursement: up to $2,500 per year toward a bachelor’s degree and up to $5,000 per year toward a graduate degree
- Less than 1 year of experience in the Operating Room
- Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing
- Registered Nurse licensure from the State of North Carolina Board of Nursing
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) required
- Prepare for classroom and clinical commitments, arranging meetings as needed.
- Consistently fulfill examination requirements on designated days.
- Maintain meticulous clinical case records.
- Uphold a constructive and enthusiastic demeanor during clinical rotations.
- Deliver age‑appropriate care in strict accordance with Age/Developmental Specific Guidelines when participating in patient care.
