Work In a Collaborative & Supportive Environment

Our Winston Salem Campus is a Level 1 trauma center. As a CRNA in our Inpatient Anesthesia Department you will work on a wide variety of cases: orthopedic, vascular, burns, cardiothoracic (specific team), neurology, ENT, general/abdominal, robotic, gynecology, and more, including EP, IR, MRI, Burn Tank, Brachytherapy, and Transesophageal Echocardiography (TEE).

What You’ll Do

As a valued member of our healthcare team, the CRNA will:

  • Provide anesthesia safely and effectively during inpatient procedures.
  • Precept and mentor Student Nurse Anesthetists.
  • Use clinical decision‑making to craft appropriate peri‑operative care plans, considering comorbidities and age/developmental guidelines.
  • Collaborate with the medical team for effective, team‑based care.
  • Advocate patient safety, quality improvement, and infection prevention.
  • Document patient records in compliance with hospital standards, preserving confidentiality.
  • Maintain scheduling flexibility, reliability, and punctuality.
  • Demonstrate professionalism through teamwork, collaboration, and commitment to continuous development.
  • Contribute to cost containment by conserving resources.
  • Perform related duties as assigned.
CRNA Requirements
  • Graduate from an accredited Nurse Anesthesia Program;
    Master’s degree or higher.
  • Registered Nurse license in the state of North Carolina; current certification or recertification as a Nurse Anesthetist by the National Board.
  • Current CPR, ACLS, and BLS certifications.
  • Demonstrated clinical competency within the scope of granted privileges.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration.

Pay Range: $97.75 – $156.40 per hour
