Our Winston Salem Campus is a Level 1 trauma center. As a CRNA in our Inpatient Anesthesia Department you will work on a wide variety of cases: orthopedic, vascular, burns, cardiothoracic (specific team), neurology, ENT, general/abdominal, robotic, gynecology, and more, including EP, IR, MRI, Burn Tank, Brachytherapy, and Transesophageal Echocardiography (TEE).
What You’ll DoAs a valued member of our healthcare team, the CRNA will:
- Provide anesthesia safely and effectively during inpatient procedures.
- Precept and mentor Student Nurse Anesthetists.
- Use clinical decision‑making to craft appropriate peri‑operative care plans, considering comorbidities and age/developmental guidelines.
- Collaborate with the medical team for effective, team‑based care.
- Advocate patient safety, quality improvement, and infection prevention.
- Document patient records in compliance with hospital standards, preserving confidentiality.
- Maintain scheduling flexibility, reliability, and punctuality.
- Demonstrate professionalism through teamwork, collaboration, and commitment to continuous development.
- Contribute to cost containment by conserving resources.
- Perform related duties as assigned.
- Graduate from an accredited Nurse Anesthesia Program;
Master’s degree or higher. - Registered Nurse license in the state of North Carolina; current certification or recertification as a Nurse Anesthetist by the National Board.
- Current CPR, ACLS, and BLS certifications.
- Demonstrated clinical competency within the scope of granted privileges.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration.

Pay Range: $97.75 – $156.40 per hour
