Job Description
Join a dynamic cardiac procedural unit as a Telemetry Registered Nurse, providing exceptional care to adult and geriatric patients pre and post cardiac procedures. The unit supports a wide range of diagnoses including pre/post catheterization, pacemaker insertion, and management of arrhythmias, among others. This high-acuity environment requires a skilled professional comfortable with rapid patient turnover and effective collaboration within an interdisciplinary team.
Responsibilities

• Monitor cardiac telemetry and manage patients with varying levels of acuity.

• Administer cardiac drips and manage peripheral and central line care.

• Provide emergency response and interpretation of dysrhythmias.

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including IV, respiratory, and physical therapy services.

• Adhere to isolation precautions and medication management protocols.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in telemetry or cardiac nursing.

• Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS.

• Preferred skills include IV therapy/phlebotomy, blood product administration, and management of vasoactive drips (non-titrating).
