Travel Nurse Source  is working with Revolution Healthcare Services to find a qualified Labor/Delivery RN in Winston Salem, North Carolina, 27103!

Job Opportunity – Labor & Delivery RN – North Carolina

Start Date: October 26, 2026

Schedule: 12-hour shifts, 48 hours per week available, every other weekend required. Floating within Women's Services as needed. 13-week contract.

Highlights:

• High-volume maternity unit with at least 400+ births per month and 21 labor/delivery rooms
• Comprehensive L&D experience including labor inductions, preterm deliveries, multiple gestations, and managing complex cases including preeclampsia and postpartum hemorrhages
• Must be able to circulate in OR and recover C-sections in 3 OR rooms/recovery areas
• Epic charting system with structured orientation including 2 days on unit and 2 half-days in OR
• 1:2 nurse-to-patient ratio with interdisciplinary support including respiratory services, pharmacy, rapid response teams, and more
• First-time travelers accepted; local candidates welcome with holiday incentive available

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery experience required
• Experience with at least 400 births per month facility
• Active RN license (NC or Compact state license accepted)
• Required certifications: BLS, AWHONN Intermediate or Advanced, NRP
• Epic charting experience required
• Proficiency in IV starts, epidural management, and circulating in OR
• Experience managing multiple drips including Pitocin, magnesium sulfate, and insulin
• Must be able to recover C-sections and handle high-acuity obstetrical patients
• Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions only)
• Must be available to work 2 of 3 major holidays; maximum 7 days requested time off
