Description:

This position is for a Registered Nurse specializing in MS/Tele. The role requires a minimum of 2 years of nursing experience. Travel experience is acceptable for first-time travelers. The unit accepts local candidates. Nurse-to-patient ratios will be 1:6. The unit cares for surgical patients, including those with colorectal, general, hepatobiliary, orthopedic, urology, and vascular conditions. Float requirements may occur occasionally. Weekend work is required every other weekend.

Candidates must be open to floating within or near the facility. Blood product administration and central line care/management are necessary skills. EKG testing must be passed prior to the start. Certifications in NIHSS and BLS are mandatory. Candidates are expected to have a teamwork approach and adhere to behavior expectations in all interactions with patients and staff. Cell phone policies must be followed.

Adherence to the call-off policy is strongly enforced. All requests for time off must be pre-approved. No additional requests for time off are allowed after signing. References can be pending at the time of submission. Pre-start modules must be completed online using compatible browsers. The candidate must complete all testing within a specified timeframe after signing. This position requires occasional floating within the facility.
