Job Opportunity – Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) Registered Nurse – North Carolina
Start Date: November 2, 2026
Location: North Carolina
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: 10-hour day shifts, Monday through Friday, 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM. Call coverage required approximately 10 days per month (including one weekend per month). Call hours are 3:00 PM to 7:00 AM.
Highlights:
- 3-room cardiovascular surgical suite serving adult and geriatric patients (ages 20s to 90s)
- Diverse case mix including CABG, valve replacements and repairs, TAVR, robotic thoracic surgery, aortic aneurysm repair, carotid endarterectomy, and thoracic procedures
- EPIC charting system with PYXIS medication management
- 36-hour orientation provided; scrubs supplied by facility
- 13-week contract assignment with first-time travelers welcome
- Interdisciplinary support including respiratory services, radiology, pharmacy, and transportation
Requirements:
- Active North Carolina or Compact state RN license
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification required
- Minimum 2 years of Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) experience required
- Circulating experience required; scrub experience preferred
- CNOR certification preferred
- Annual flu vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions considered)
- Candidates must be available for interview within 72 hours of submission
