** Job Summary
** We’re looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented
** Accounts Payable Representative
** to join our accounting team. This role is ideal for someone with strong AP experience who is ready to step into a leadership position. You’ll be responsible for daily AP operations and ensuring invoices are processed accurately and on time.
** What You’ll Do
*** Process and review a high volume of vendor invoices
* Ensure accurate coding and timely payments
* Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies
* Collaborate with internal departments to resolve invoice/payment issues
* Assist with month-end close and reporting
* Maintain up-to-date vendor records
* Recommend process improvements to streamline workflows
** What We’re Looking For
*** 3+ years of Accounts Payable experience (transportation/logistics industry a plus)
* Strong Excel skills and familiarity with accounting systems (e.g., Great Plains, Oracle, SAP)
* Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
* Strong communication and organizational abilities
* High school diploma required;
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field preferred
