Bay Care Medical Group, the leading medical group in the Tampa Bay area is seeking an experienced Board Certified highly skilled and motivated Interventional Cardiologist to join our cardiology team in Winter Haven, Florida. The ideal candidate will have five or more years of extensive experience and expertise in performing interventional procedures, a commitment to delivering high-quality patient care, and a passion for advancing the field of interventional cardiology through innovation, research, and education.
This position offers the opportunity to work in a state-of-the-art facility alongside a collaborative team of cardiovascular specialists and make a significant impact on the lives of patients with complex cardiovascular conditions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostic procedures including cardiac catheterization, angiography, intravascular ultrasound (IVUS), and fractional flow reserve (FFR) to evaluate the severity and extent of cardiovascular diseases.
- Conduct a wide range of interventional procedures such as percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI), coronary angioplasty, stent placement, atherectomy, and structural heart interventions (e.g., transcatheter aortic valve replacement - TAVR, transcatheter mitral valve repair - TMVR).
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients with cardiovascular conditions, providing pre-procedure counseling, procedural care, and post-procedure follow-up.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of cardiologists, cardiac surgeons, radiologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and optimize treatment outcomes.
- Adhere to established clinical guidelines, protocols, and quality assurance measures to ensure the safety, efficacy, and quality of interventional procedures.
- Participate in educational activities, research endeavors, and quality improvement initiatives

QualificationsQualifications:
- Board certification/board eligibility in Cardiology and Interventional Cardiology
- Completion of an accredited fellowship program in interventional cardiology.
- State medical licensure or eligibility for licensure in Florida
