Unified Mammography Services (UMAMS), a subsidiary of Unified Women’s Healthcare, is a comprehensive solution for in-office Breast Imaging services. Embedded within our network of affiliated OBGYN provider practices, this offers patients an intimate and familiar in-office environment, offering a convenient one-stop solution for well-woman visits and annual screening mammograms.

Unified Mammography Services is seeking a Mammography Technologist for its Mammography office at an affiliated practice in Winter Park, FL.

Location: 427

E. Central Ave, Winter Haven, FL 33880

Work Schedule: This position is for 30 hours + a week.

• Perform mammography imaging and quality control procedures.
• Ensure proper functioning of mammography equipment and address any malfunctions.
• Maintain meticulous attention to detail during all procedures.
• Communicate with radiologists regarding mammographic exams.
• Apply analytical skills to interpret mammographic images, assess quality, and verify patient information.
• Accurately complete all patient information requirements and necessary paperwork.
• Complete administrative tasks to ensure timely exam interpretation.
• Complete necessary medical records, including consents, billing, and supply monitoring.
• Ensure timely delivery of mammography results, escalating to management or a radiologist when results exceed standard turnaround times.
• Support the manager in maintaining MQSA and ACR requirements.
• Adhere to and maintain continuing education requirements mandated by MQSA.

• All other job requests as assigned by the Mammography Operations Manager, Director of Imaging Operations, or Care Center Administrator.

• Associate s degree or completion of an accredited Radiologic Sciences Program.
• ARRT Registration R.T.(R) Required.
• ARRT Certification in Mammography (M) Required.
• State Department of Radiation Control License (if applicable).
• Maintain registry status and continuing education.
• Minimum two years of mammography experience preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English as required by job duties.
• Must be able to understand and follow safety instructions provided in English.
• Role requires reading and writing in English to complete documentation, reports, and compliance requirements.
• Ability to interact with customers, clients, or regulators in English as needed.
