Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to join our growing team in Polk County, Central Florida.

As a
Direct Support Professional (DSP),
you will provide hands-on care and assistance to individuals in their daily lives. Your role will include helping them develop independent living skills, ensuring community inclusion, and supporting their overall well-being.

• Provide direct care services tailored to the individual’s needs.
• Assist with
  Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including personal hygiene, dressing, and grooming.
• Support individuals in
  meal preparation
  and ensure dietary needs are met.
• Promote
  independent living skills
  such as budgeting, grocery shopping, and household chores.
• Encourage and facilitate
  community inclusion, social skills, and recreational activities.
• Implement
  individualized goals and support plans
  in a person-centered environment.
• Ensure the
  health and safety
  of all individuals under your care.
• Identify, document, and report any
  incidents, allegations of abuse, or concerns
  as required.
• Administer
  medications accurate
  (upon successful completion of an approved AMAP course).
• Communicate effectively with
  staff, management, and families
  to ensure coordinated care.

• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least 1 year of experience
  in caregiving, healthcare, or disability support
  preferred
  (college credits may be substituted for experience).
• Must be reliable, patient, and compassionate.
• Ability to follow care plans and safety procedures.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to pass background checks and required certifications.
