Joining us as a Multi-Unit Team Leader, you’ll provide leadership over three H&R Block tax offices and accelerate their seasonal tax business by leading customer-centric teams. Prior tax preparation experience is not required.

• Provide leadership and development across three tax offices and lead the customer-centric teams to accelerate seasonal tax business.
• Serve as the front-line manager responsible for leadership, development of associates, delivering an outstanding client experience, and achieving office growth objectives for three tax offices.
• Manage office staffing, operations, and logistics with support from Associate Team Leaders.
• Partner with the District General Manager to create and implement office-level growth plans and client growth targets, including developing local partnerships and managing community involvement.
• Assist the District General Manager in recruiting and interviewing candidates for tax office positions.
• Conduct timely performance reviews and address associate issues in partnership with the Associate Relations Center.
• Build an engaging team environment across all offices through training, coaching, and recognizing outstanding contributions.
• Lead daily team meetings and communicate essential information to tax office associates.
• Create associate work schedules, ensure accurate timekeeping, and manage labor across all offices.
• Travel between offices as required.
• Prepare tax returns as needed, upon successful completion of the Income Tax Course or Tax Knowledge Assessment.

• Flexible part-time schedule in the fall to prepare for the busy tax season. From January to April, transition to full-time, including evenings and weekends as needed. This role is not remote and requires in-person work.

• People management experience with the ability to grow and develop associates.
• Demonstrated aptitude for growth plan execution and fostering a growth culture.
• Strong decision-making and judgment skills; able to operate in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a customer-centric mindset.
• Computer proficiency with the ability to use MS Office.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field, or high school diploma with equivalent experience.
• Successful completion of the H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment or the Income Tax Course (if preparing tax returns).
