Responsibilities- Accurately count and record products by category
- Enter inventory results into Excel and the inventory database
- Identify and flag any non‑conforming product (e.g., incorrect code, label issues, short fill, missing carton, leaks)
- Assign orders to shipping associates using load‑out sheets
- Review available product by code date—both visually and electronically—to ensure proper product rotation
- Ensure all products are assembled in the staging area for loading
- Direct trailer movement throughout the load‑out period
- Prepare paperwork for the oncoming shift
- Complete all required documentation and scheduled product checks
- Maintain a clean, sanitary, and safe work area
- Follow all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
- Follow all safety and security policies and procedures
- Always wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Comply with all food safety and quality system requirements, including regulatory, customer, and Safe Quality Foods (SQF) standards
- Maintain reliable attendance and consistent work hours
- High school diploma or GED required
- Forklift and/or pallet jack certification as provided by the company.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel, preferred
- Experience in refrigerated warehouses and shipping environments preferred
- Ability to remain focused and prioritize tasks during peak demand periods with multiple requests from associates and managers
- Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English; capable of performing basic mathematical calculations and accurately recording data. Bilingual skills are beneficial.
- Ability and willingness to work overtime, weekends, holidays, and various shifts as required.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively in fast‑paced, dynamic environments.
- Must be able to frequently stand, walk, kneel, reach, climb, pull, and bend
- Must be able to routinely lift and/or move up to 50 pounds; and occasionally 75 pounds
