Bay Care Health System is seeking a Registered Nurse to join the Med/Surg team at Winter Haven Hospital as an Assistant Nurse Manager. Winter Haven Hospital is part of Bay Care Health System and has a long-standing partnership with the community to promote health and wellness.
Responsibilities- Proficiency in the care of a patient population utilizing effective managerial skills.
- Supporting the Nurse Manager in a supervisory capacity while managing team member and patient care issues.
- Supporting the ongoing team member performance appraisal, hiring, counseling, and termination processes.
- Acting as a role model for other team members and the communication of organizational information.
- Performing other duties as assigned.

Certifications and Licensures:
- BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification is required
- RN (Registered Nurse) license is required
- RN Nursing Specialty certification is preferred
- Bachelors degree in Nursing or a healthcare related field is required
- 2 years of RN experience in acute care, post-acute, or sub-acute experience
- 1 year of leadership experience is preferred
- Interpersonal skills

- Clinical skills appropriate to position
