Position
Description:
RN
- The registered nurse works in a hospital setting and independently cares for a group of patients consistently using the nursing process and clinical standards.
- Delegates appropriate patient care activities to other members of the health care team.
- Is responsible for professional accountability and development.
- Collaborates and communicates with inter‑disciplinary care providers in developing and assisting in plan of care.
- Organizes, prioritizes, and updates plan of care in collaboration with patient, family, and significant others in a medical/surgical unit.
- Identifies patients at risk for injury regarding diagnosis, medication, procedure, age, etc., and prepares room environment.
