Bay Care Health System invites applications for the Registered Nurse position on our Medical/Surgical Tele unit at Winter Haven Hospital. This role offers 8 hour night shifts (6:45 PM‑7:15 AM) with every‑other weekend work.
Position
Description:
The RN works in a hospital setting and independently cares for a group of patients using the nursing process and clinical standards. The RN delegates appropriate patient‑care activities to other health‑care team members and demonstrates professional accountability and continuous professional development.
Responsibilities- Collaborate and communicate with interdisciplinary care providers to develop and assist in patient care plans.
- Organize, prioritize and update the plan of care in collaboration with the patient, family and significant others.
- Identify patients at risk for injury regarding diagnosis, medication, procedure, age, etc., and prepare the room environment.
- Registered Nurse license.
- BLS certification.
- Minimum 6 months of acute‑care RN experience.
- Associate's Degree in Nursing.
