Position

RN – Medical/Surgical Cardiac (Winter Haven Hospital)

Bay Care Health System is currently seeking a Registered Nurse to join our Medical/Surgical Cardiac team at Winter Haven Hospital. The Registered Nurse works in a hospital setting and independently cares for a group of patients using the nursing process and clinical standards. The RN delegates appropriate patient care activities to other members of the health care team and is responsible for professional accountability and development.

• The registered nurse collaborates and communicates with inter-disciplinary care providers in developing and assisting in the plan of care.
• Organizes, prioritizes, and updates the plan of care in collaboration with the patient, family, and significant others in a medical/surgical unit.
• Identifies patients at risk for injury regarding diagnosis, medication, procedure, age, etc., and prepares the room environment.

• Registered Nurse license
• BLS
• 6 months RN acute care experience
• Associates Degree in Nursing
