PositionDescription
The Registered Nurse works in a hospital setting and independently cares for a group of patients consistently using the nursing process and clinical standards. The RN delegates appropriate patient care activities to other members of the health care team and is also responsible for professional accountability and development.
- Collaborates and communicates with interdisciplinary care providers in developing and assisting in the plan of care
- Organizes, prioritizes, and updates the plan of care in collaboration with patient, family, and significant others in a medical/surgical unit
- Identifies patients at risk for injury regarding diagnosis, medication, procedure, age, etc., and prepares room environment

- BLS certification
- At least 6 months RN acute care experience
- Associate’s Degree in Nursing
