American Traveler is hiring an experienced Operating Room RN with circulating skills and Cerner EMR experience for a 13-week assignment at a community hospital.

• Operating Room unit with 11 main ORs
• 475-bed short-term acute care teaching hospital
• Primarily adult patient population with no pediatric cases
• Day shift schedule, 4x10 hours, 7:00 AM-5:30 PM
• 1:1 patient ratios for days, nights, and weekends
• Surgical specialties include robotic, orthopedic, general, GYN, vascular, urology, and neurology (ortho spine)
• OR hours of operation 6 AM-9 PM with urgent/emergent cases handled after 7 PM
• Weekend work required
• On-call required, including 3 overnight shifts and 1-2 weekend call shifts per 4-week period
• Call response time of 30 minutes
• No floating required outside scope
• No block scheduling accommodations available

• Active FL or compact RN license required
• BLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of OR nursing experience required
• Circulating skills required
• Cerner EMR experience required
• COVID-19 vaccination required, with medical or religious exemptions accepted
• Logo-free profile, application, skills checklist, and 2 professional references from supervisors within the past 2 years required
• State Board of Nursing license verification and NURSYS verification required

• Royal blue scrub color required
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
