YOUR SCHEDULE

Our Commercial Refrigeration Technician works 40 hours per week from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. Weekend work and overtime is available.

YOUR DAY

As our Commercial Refrigeration Technician, you work on cooling systems for businesses like restaurants, warehouses, and grocery stores. Every day brings new challenges and interesting new projects, and you're committed to completing high-quality work while complying with all safety standards and maintaining detailed documentation. Following blueprints and manufacturer specifications, you install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain appliances like freezers, ice machines, and walk-in coolers.

You provide excellent customer service as you work, answering clients' questions and providing timely job updates. Using specialized tools, you detect and repair refrigerant leaks, diagnose and solve electrical problems, and perform routine maintenance checks. You identify worn-out and defective parts and swap them out with functional components. As you clean coils, monitor temperatures, lubricate parts, and install appliances, you level up your abilities and advance in this skilled trade!

Qualifications

• Thorough technical knowledge of thermodynamics principles, electrical systems, and refrigeration components
• Expertise with wrenches, screwdrivers, brazing torches, and specialized tools
• Ability to use diagnostic tools to accurately identify problems
• Ability to lift heavy equipment, work in confined spaces, and stand for extended periods
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Communication skills with an ability to explain technical issues in layman's terms
• Eagerness to learn more, improve your skills, and complete high-quality work
