What This Heating And Cooling Role Entails

As a Residential HVAC Technician, your day starts with getting into your company vehicle, equipped with everything you need to perform installations, repairs, and maintenance. As you head to your first job, you get ready to install HVAC systems, perform routine inspections, troubleshoot issues, and ensure systems are running efficiently. Throughout the day, you meet with clients to explain technical issues in clear terms, provide estimates, and suggest system upgrades.

The

Minimum Requirements For a Residential Hvac Technician

• 3+ years of residential HVAC experience
• EPA Certification (Type I and II or Universal)
• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, including electrical wiring and refrigerant handling
• Mechanical skills to use hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment
• Problem-solving abilities to diagnose and repair HVAC systems
• Excellent customer service skills and communication abilities
• Ability to work in various weather conditions and confined spaces

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with refrigeration systems
• Additional HVAC certifications or training

SCHEDULE

This heating and cooling position is full-time, working Monday through Friday with occasional weekend work as needed. You will enjoy flexible hours with occasional on-call shifts.
