Mobile Plant Maintenance – Electrician
Conrad Yelvington Distributors, a CRH company, supplies and distributes aggregate materials such as granite, river gravel, limestone, natural sand, and more. This distribution network covers Florida, Southern Mississippi, South Carolina, and Alabama.
This position requires travel across Florida, Alabama, Georgia, Mississippi, and South Carolina, potentially up to 100%, including overtime and weekends.
Responsibilities:The mechanic may operate heavy equipment and assist wherever needed, work in varying weather, and handle physical tasks such as lifting up to 50 pounds, bending, and working in awkward positions. Overtime and weekend work may be required. Significant travel to other locations is expected.
Qualifications:- High School diploma, GED, or equivalent.
- Experience with front-end loaders, forklifts, and high lifts preferred.
- At least 2 years in maintenance.
- Experience with industrial equipment and preventative maintenance.
- Basic electrical diagnosis and repair skills.
- Knowledge of OSHA regulations.
- Electrical experience from 24
VDC to 120
VDC controls and up to 480
VAC wiring.
