, you ll help ensure our buildings, infrastructure, and guest-facing areas meet the highest standards of safety, quality, and presentation.
This is a hands‑on leadership role where you ll guide and mentor a team of Facilities Technicians while actively working alongside them. You ll partner closely with the Facilities Supervisor然and Head of Facilities to prioritize work orders, coordinate vendors, and proactively address facility needs across the resort.

Qualifications & Experience 👷♂️ WHAT YOU LL DO 🔹 Leadership & Team DevelopmentLead, mentor, and support a team of Facilities Technicians through daily task assignments and performance oversight.
Assist with onboarding, training, and ongoing development in line with LEGOLAND Florida standards.
Support daily team huddles and weekly safety meetings, reinforcing a strong safety‑first culture 🦺.
Prioritize and manage daily maintenance tasks using the CMMS system.
Perform routine inspections of front‑of‑house and back‑of‑house areas, identifying and resolving issues such as:
Damaged finishes
Flooring wear
Lighting or building deficiencies
Ensure all work orders and projects are completed on time and properly documented.
Coordinate furniture setups, internal relocations, and department support needs.
Support vendor management by monitoring work scopes, service quality, and contract compliance.
Assist with on‑site supervision and quality assurance inspections.
Provide weekly progress updates to the Facilities Supervisor, including:
Open work orders
Project status

Use tools and equipment only Kolwhen properly trained.
Report incidents promptly and cooperate with investigations as required.
3–5 years of progressive facilities maintenance experience, including team or trade oversight.
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
Ability to juggle multiple priorities in a fast‑paced, guest‑facing environment 🎡.
Working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, carpentry, painting, and safety compliance.
Customer‑focused mindset with a collaborative, team‑first attitude.
Experience using work order systems and coordinating vendors.
Education
High School Diploma or GED required
Trade school, technical certification, or relevant coursework preferred
Forklift certificationüber
Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, or general maintenance materials
Experience in a theme park, resort, or high‑volume operational environment 🎢
Ability to lift and carry 25–70 lbs.
Frequent walking, standing, kneeling, bending, climbing, and working in tight үткor or elevated spaces.
Comfortable working in noisy environments, various weather conditions, and dusty or damp areas.
Proper use of PPE including gloves, eye/ear protection, respirators, and fall protection.
Flexibility to work extended hours, weekends, or holidays as needed.
Work primarily based in a warehouse or maintenance support facility.
Frequent travel across indoor and outdoor resort areas.
Exposure to noise, dust, heat, humidity, cold, heavy machinery, and moving vehicles.
Fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment requiring adaptability and urgency.
Valid driver s license with a safe driving record.
Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
