Overview

Architect (Hybrid Working Style) – Winter Park, FL. This role involves documentation of design and coordination of building systems from project inception through construction administration. The Project Architect will work with the Principal and an integrated team to develop plans and specifications for various project types. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and self-starting.

• Provide conceptual design and design support documentation (conceptual physical and digital models, renderings, diagrams, and technical drawings) on a variety of building projects
• Create, develop, oversee and revise construction documents, drawings and renderings for various residential projects
• Negotiate critical issues with appropriate parties
• Collaborate with lead professionals to ensure design and documentation meet project expectations
• Ensure work meets clients’ requirements in a timely manner
• Coordinate with vendors, permitting, construction staff, and others to keep projects on track
• Manage the work of architecture and interior design staff who complete design or production work and construction documents

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture
• 3-5 years of professional architecture experience
• Professional licensure or progress toward licensure is a plus but not required
• Residential architecture experience – exterior and interior is ideal
• Experience managing construction documentation and production of plans
• Ability to prioritize and lead multiple projects
• AutoCAD, Revit, and Sketch Up proficiency
• Strong collaboration skills and ability to work under deadlines
• Willingness to travel to project sites for meetings
• Ability to observe and evaluate existing and new project sites
• Strong verbal and written communication
• Good visual acuity for design and documentation tasks
