SENIOR INTERIOR DESIGNER8+ years experience in Multifamily, Single Family FFE and Specifications.
SUMMARY RESPONSIBILITIES- Undertake design projects from concept to completion focusing on Specs and FFE.
- Manage multiple projects focusing on high-end amenities, multi-family, and models.
- Interpret and translate customer needs into desired Specs and final FFE.
- Work closely with Interior Architecture to concept interior details and space planning in all phases of the project (drawings are by Interior Architects).
- Assist with and/or lead client meetings and job site walk-throughs.
- Keep all projects on schedule and within time frames set out for selections and ordering.
- Follow spec and FFE budget requirements.
- Ensure all items are ordered for a project with the Project Manager/Expeditor.
- Understand CA process, RFIs and Submittals as needed.
- Participate fully in the FFE installation and punch of the project.
- Use your Leadership skills to train and coach your Design Assistant and collaborate with others working on the project.
- Work closely and respectfully with outside architects, supervisors, clients, subs, etc.
- 4-year degree in Interior Design.
- 8+ years applicable Interior Design experience in Furnishings, Fabrics and Specifications.
- 4+ years of team leadership or management skills.
- Strong creative and quick-thinking team player with impeccable professionalism, commitment to deadlines and an easy-going personality.
- Digital portfolio of applicable Interior Design images.
- Florida candidates only. Candidates will have a GREEN CARD or US CITIZENSHIP.
- Candidates will have a DIGITAL PORTFOLIO to SHARE.
Salary commensurate with experience, 401K, healthcare program, dental program, paid vacation, educational reimbursements.
