The Ohio State University College of Medicine and the Wexner Medical Center seek an Emergency Radiologist to join the Department of Radiology. Academic rank and track commensurate with academic record and experience.

We are currently interviewing candidates for all shifts. Remote/hybrid opportunities are available for the right candidate. Weekend and holiday coverage is limited and equitably shared among faculty.

Shift Details
  • Traditional in‑person, 8 am – 5 pm coverage Monday–Friday for both part‑time and full‑time positions, no evening or overnight call responsibilities.
  • Evening Shift: 4 pm – 1 am; 7 days on, 14 days off
  • Overnight Shift: 11 pm – 8 am; 7 days on, 21 days off
Position Overview

The Department of Radiology at The Ohio State University College of Medicine/Wexner Medical Center is seeking candidates for faculty positions in Emergency Radiology who are passionate about collaborative, patient‑centered clinical excellence, dedicated to advancing research and innovation, committed to education, and inspire inclusivity. The responsibilities of this position will include patient care, research, and training graduate and postgraduate students.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Availability to work on-site in the Emergency Department as needed; flexibility to work some shifts remotely.
  • Contribute to day‑to‑day clinical operations of the Emergency Radiology Division:
    • Provide high‑quality patient care related to the Emergency Service.
    • Contribute to clinical and imaging operations related to the Emergency Service.
  • Education, Training, and Faculty Development:
    • Conduct and provide clinical instruction, lectures, seminars, and related educational offerings.
    • Collaborate with faculty and leadership to develop and refine medical student, resident, and fellow training opportunities.
    • Serve as a mentor and sponsor of residents, fellows, and faculty.
  • Research and Scholarship:
    • Support clinical and translational research activities and innovation.
    • May serve as PI or Co‑I in grants and/or clinical trials.
    • Serve on Department, OSUCOM, or OSUWMC committees to represent research and innovation interests.
Job Requirements
  • M.D., D.O., or Ph.D. in imaging and/or imaging‑related fields.
  • Board eligible or board certified in Radiology (A , ABOR).
  • Completion of subspecialty fellowship in a relevant Diagnostic Radiology discipline at time of appointment.
  • Must possess or be eligible for licensure in the State of Ohio.
  • Must support and embrace a diverse and inclusive culture of the College of Medicine, the Medical Center, and the University.
