Solutions Engineer, Commercial- A/V & Lighting

ZIO is looking for a Commercial Solutions Engineer. Do you like working with clients to design installed technology solutions that meet their needs? Do you have an attention to detail to ensure that your design will work? Do you have a passion for Audio, Video and Control technology and keeping up with the latest trends? Do you take satisfaction in doing things ‘the right way’ the first time?

We’re looking for a Commercial Solutions Engineer professional that will be responsible for producing all proposals and overseeing all technical design. This process starts by working with a ZIO relationship manager to perform a full needs analysis for the client’s project and then a conceptual design that has a scope and budget or final proposal.

Required Skills And Experience

• Ability to excel in a fast-paced work environment
• Ability to manage multiple project opportunities, deliverables and deadlines
• Demonstrated knowledge of installed A/V technology
• Demonstrated knowledge of conducting needs analysis, understanding and developing budgets, determining and clarifying the scope of a project, and designing error-free solutions

Preferred Skills And Experience

• College-Level Degree in Engineering, Technology, IT, or similar field of study
• At least 1 year experience in systems integration in AV & control design
• Relevant audio/video control system experience such as CTS, CTS-D, CTS-I, Crestron, Extron, Q-Sys, Control4, and Biamp
