Team Member, Entertainment & Gaming

Overview

Team members are classified based on individual theatre needs and employee availability. Roles include Box Office, Concession Stand, and Usher. Primary responsibility is ensuring guests receive exceptional service.

• Operate POS system with accuracy of cash drawer, credit cards, travelers’ checks, gift cards, and redeemed discount tickets, passes, and coupons.
• Upselling and suggestive selling of Premium Viewing Experience (3D, RPX, IMAX) and Regal Crown Club program.
• Promote MPAA rating system and company policy when selling tickets.
• Respond to phone calls and guest questions consistently with guest service philosophy.
• Operate, prepare, and clean all concession related equipment, manage crowd control, and assist guests in finding seats.
• Inspect and manage ticket stubs, deposit tickets, and direct patrons to auditoriums.
• Enforce MPAA rating system and conduct in-theatre inspections for picture and sound quality.
• Perform opening and closing duties as assigned by management.
• Maintain cleanliness of auditoriums and theatre vending equipment.

• Completion of royalty certification program as a cast member and box office cashier or progress toward completion.
• Required alcohol certification and training if theatre sells alcohol.
• Regal Responsible Beverage Server training on Regal Online University.
• Good public speaking, effective listening, clear and direct response.
• Perform calculations with speed and accuracy.
• Identify problems, gather relevant data, evaluate alternatives, and reach conclusions based on evidence.
• Excellent communication skills with customers, co-workers, and management.
• Set priorities and achieve desired objectives.

Employee is frequently required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; talk or hear. Employee is occasionally required to climb or balance; stoop; kneel; crouch; crawl; lift up to 60 pounds. Vision requirements: close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, ability to adjust focus.
