About

The Role
  • Ensure that each patient receives outstanding service by providing a friendly environment.
  • Greet and acknowledge every patient, maintain outstanding standards, solid product knowledge and all other aspects of customer service.
  • Assist patients with booking, moving and rescheduling appointments.
  • Answer questions regarding the Medi-Weight loss program when inquiries come into the clinic.
  • Assist in billing and coding.
  • Assist with daily monitoring of inventory levels of all clinical and office supplies.
  • Daily scanning and uploading of documents in patient files.
  • Answer telephone, text and fax messages and respond accordingly.
  • Maintain overall cleanliness of the clinic.
  • Follow and adhere to all OSHA/HIPAA standards of compliance.
Requirements
  • Front desk reception and customer service experience (preferred)
  • Medical setting experience (preferred)
  • Passionate about health and wellness and personally living a healthy lifestyle (required)
  • Bilingual in Spanish (preferred)
Clinical Duties (varied based on credentials)
  • Obtain patient vitals, EKG, and perform phlebotomy.
  • Administer IM injections.
  • Prepare laboratory order forms and obtain patient laboratory results.
  • Assist physicians or mid-level practitioners with patient referrals to other healthcare professionals.
  • Document patient progress notes in the patient chart and/or EMR.
  • Conduct follow-up calls to patients to discuss progress and address concerns.
  • Perform other clinical duties as required.
