Central Florida Communities, Inc. (CFC) has warm, welcoming, home-inspired facilities and programs for individuals with developmental disabilities in Orange, Brevard, Lake and Seminole Counties.
CFC operates three 64-bed Intermediate Care Facilities for the Developmentally Disabled (ICF/DD's), Howell Branch Court, Lake View Court and Washington Square. As a member of our staff, you will be a part of one of these living centers and provide vital around the clock care, which includes nursing and medical oversight, to our residents.

Purpose:
The purpose of this position is to provide consultative services with community clients at Day Programs/group homes as requested. Also provide consultative services for ICF residents as requested by Program Directors. Implement and monitor physical management programs at these settings.
Supervise the delivery of Physical Therapy services to residents performed by the Direct Service Professional (DSP) and Therapy Technician, including repositioning and other programs as indicated in the support plan.
Purchase, distribute and supervise the use of all Physical Therapy equipment called for in the resident’s support plan.
Supervise Therapeutic Equipment Technician and Therapy Technician.
Develop and monitor physical management programs, therapeutic equipment, range of motion programs, ambulation programs, repositioning and lifting/transfer procedures
Required Qualification:
Registered and licensed as a Physical Therapist in the state of Florida with at least one year of therapeutic intervention/experience with people who are developmentally disabled.
Salary/Hourly Rate:
Hourly/ $50.00
