We are seeking a dedicated and empathic Attorney to join our esteemed team of professionals and make a meaningful impact in the lives of our clients and their families through probate, estate planning, and Medicaid asset protection.
Position OverviewThe ideal candidate will be strongly interested in elder law and either have knowledge of or the desire to learn estate planning, Medicaid asset protection, and probate. This role offers the opportunity to work in a collaborative and supportive environment, delivering expert guidance with compassion, empathy, and professionalism.
Key Responsibilities- Advise clients on elder law matters, including wills, trusts, advance directives, and powers of attorney.
- Assist with Medicaid planning, asset protection strategies, and long-term care arrangements.
- Represent clients in probate proceedings.
- Conduct legal research and draft tailored documents to meet client needs.
- Stay current with developments in elder law and incorporate best practices into our client experience delivery.
- Collaborate with colleagues and support staff to provide comprehensive, client-centered solutions.
- Consult with potential clients on the benefits of our services.
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Admission to the Florida Bar and in good standing.
- No prior experience needed—just a desire to learn.
- Bilingual a plus (English/Spanish) but not required.
- Passion for elder law and serving the needs of aging individuals and their families.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with meticulous attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex legal concepts clearly and compassionately.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently with minimal supervision.
- Proficiency in legal research, writing, and relevant software applications.
Based on experience
