Senior Industrial Hygienist

Job Overview

Join Terracon as a Senior Industrial Hygienist. The role is based in Winter Park, Florida, but can be remote within Florida. Terracon is a 100% employee‑owned firm that creates earth‑to‑sky solutions with down‑to‑earth people.

• Lead and participate in Asbestos, Mold, Lead, and Industrial Hygiene surveys.
• Conduct indoor air quality investigations and mold assessments.
• Oversee Phase Contrast Microscopy sample analysis.
• Prepare and deliver technical reports under senior management direction.
• Monitor projects, prepare cost estimates, and maintain consistent communication with senior management.
• Promote employee safety on‑site and in‑house following corporate policy.
• Travel out of area for projects, including stays up to a week.

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Hygiene, Environmental Science, or related field.
• 1–3 years of experience;
  Master’s degree preferred.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Certification as an AHERA Asbestos Inspector.
• Proficiency in MS Office and typing skills for accurate report entry.
• Self‑motivated and able to work in a fast‑moving environment.
• Excellent time‑management and organizational skills.
• Physical ability to lift up to 35 lbs and work in moldy/dusty environments.

• Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH).
• AHERA‑Certified Asbestos Management Planner and Project Designer.
• Florida‑Licensed Mold Assessor.
• Florida‑Certified Radon Measurement Technician or Specialist.
