Technician Trainee - Wastewater

Compensation: $16-21 per hour, depending on experience

As a Wastewater Tech Trainee, you will play an important role in supporting our Wastewater team. In this position, you will assist the cleaning and CCTV crews with various utility projects throughout your designated area. This is a great opportunity to gain hands‑on experience while contributing to the protection of our environment by helping keep our sewer systems and communities clean.

• Provide field services for data collection and assess the condition of sanitary and storm sewer collection systems using a wide array of technologies.
• Maintain clean equipment and toolboxes.
• Perform basic math skills and use of computer applications.
• Support the cleaning and CCTV teams with day‑to‑day operations.
• Assist in the maintenance and inspection of wastewater systems.
• Follow safety protocols and company procedures at all times.
• Work collaboratively with the team to complete assigned tasks.

• Valid Driver's License with a good driving record.
• Ability to pass a thorough background check and pre‑employment drug screen as a condition of employment.
• Ability to obtain a DOT Medical Certification as required by project locations.
• Must be able to walk on various terrain, work in various type of weather conditions and work in confined spaces, bend, squat and lift/carry up to 75 pounds.
• Ability to travel 2 to 3 weeks at a time as needed, work weekends and work some nights. Travel could be upwards of 80% of time based on project locations.
• Ability to possess or obtain Confined Space Training certifications.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Ability to work outdoors while using ATV equipment. Some of our jobs require us to go off‑roading.
• Understand, speak, read, and write English.
