Beautiful Interlachen Country Club located in Winter Park, FL has a full-time opportunity in its vibrant Tennis program as an Assistant Tennis Pro. USPTA Qualification is a plus; 5.0 or above playing standard is preferred. This is an Independent Contractor role.
Summary: Assistant Tennis Pros work with the Director of Tennis to ensure that the Tennis Department meets the needs of the Members and their guests.
Responsibilities:
- Provide group and individual lessons and clinics on tennis techniques and strategies to members and guests.
- Assist the Director of Tennis with organizing tennis tournaments and events.
- Record court reservations and lesson appointments.
Compensation: Independent Contractor
Reports To: Director of Tennis
Requirements:
- Availability to support the Tennis program weekdays, weekends, and some holidays.
- Physical endurance to stay active and in motion.
- Ability to bend, stretch, and lift occasionally.
- Ability to work in heat and sun for prolonged periods.
