The Associate Optometrist delivers optometric care, ensuring all patients receive the highest quality service while collaborating with Store Managers, the regional team, and peers.
MajorDuties & Responsibilities
- Ensure executional excellence in partnership with store leadership.
- Demonstrate commitment to exceed KPI results.
- Establish the brand as the leading optical provider in the community.
- Operate as a stakeholder to all leaders within the organization and local market.
- Place patients first and deliver excellent service.
- Convey commitment to patient service through comprehensive care steps.
- Address patients’ visual life‑style needs.
- Recommend eyewear based on needs.
- Explain eye exam steps and key visual health aspects.
- Use visual aids to ensure understanding.
- Communicate necessity of annual exams and schedule appointments.
- Provide services in accordance with protocol.
- Ensure accurate diagnosis and appropriate recommendations.
- Establish a positive doctor‑patient relationship.
- Leverage technology for exceptional patient experiences.
- Maintain office systems and state licensure in good standing.
- Provide training and guidance to team members.
- Deliver clear, motivating feedback promptly.
- Promote a positive culture aligned with corporate values.
- Encourage associate decision‑making at patient level.
- Lead by example; maintain office appearance and safety.
